Frequently asked questions about passport photos

Can I come in for a passport photo today?
Yes. During opening hours you can come in for a passport photo without an appointment (drop-in) between 10:00 and 16:00. If you would like another time, simply book an appointment through the website or by phone.
Do you send the passport photo directly to the police?
Yes. We send the passport photo directly to the police.
Can I get my photo on paper?
Yes, if needed you can get your photo on paper, for example for visa applications.
Can I pick up my new passport or ID card from the R-kiosk without showing ID or a passport?
No, you must identify yourself. If you have an old ID card or passport, it's valid as long as it's not more than 1 year old. If you don't have one at all, or if your card is more than 1 year old, you need to give power of attorney to someone who can pick up your card for you. We have forms available if you need them.
